Glossary of Terms : DADADance and Drama Awards Dance and Drama Awards are bursaries that are given to very talented people so they can study 20 private dance and drama schools in England. There are a limited number of awards available every year. The award pays for the majority of your tuition fees, but you'll also be expected to make a contribution. To apply for a dance course you must be 16 or over. To apply for acting or stage management courses you must be 18 or over. You will only be eligible to receive a Dance and Drama Award if you take the Trinity College London qualification at one of the 20 accredited providers. These courses last between one and three years and are at National Certificate or National Diploma level.
