Disabled Students Allowance (DSA)DSA is available for students undertaking courses in Higher Education. The only is exception is for disabled students studying on a Dance and Drama Award scholarship. DSA funds are to pay for extra costs that you have as a student due to your disability. You can get them for full time or part time study (for part time study, the money is reduced). You can also get them for open or distance learning. They are not means tested so you get them whatever your financial situation. You can get three types of support.
