Don’t think about training as being something you just do at the beginning of your career. Many artists choose to study at different points in their lives. It’s a way of keeping up to date, of finding out more about what you do and why you do it and stretching yourself. In the past, Deaf and disabled artists have found it hard to access arts training. This is changing as more and more of the organisations that provide training take their responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act seriously.
